
Breakfast "Kojima's Specialty Takomeshi"

Kojima’s octopus fishing quota is among the best in Japan.
Kojima, Kurashiki has a particularly fast tidal current in the Seto Inland Sea. Octopuses grown in the sea nearby are famous for their chewy and firm texture.
A long-time local favorite recipe is the “takomeshi”which is seasoned rice with chopped-up octopuses.
DENIM HOUSE BON’s breakfast serves takomeshi,and side dishes that consist of vinegared “mamakari” (Japanese scaled sardines),Seto Inland’s garaebi shrimp, and seasonal vegetables.
Enjoy a specially made miso soup with garaebi paste added to combined rice koji miso from "Meitou Miso Honpo" in Setouchi, Okayama.

・Seasonal vegetables in small bowls
Cooking | Preparation1. Wash the rice and put the pre-packaged takomeshi ingredients inside, followed by the amount of water mentioned on the bag. Start cooking the rice.
2. Take out the miso from the bottle and pour in a preferred amount of hot water and then you are all ready.
